Not Every Exhaust Repair Comes Out of a Box
Many exhaust problems don’t require replacing the entire system. At Route 40 Auto, we can cut out rusted or damaged sections, bend replacement pipe to fit the vehicle, and weld the repair in place. We also replace failed flex pipes, flanges, hangers, mufflers and resonators without replacing good components unnecessarily. With exhaust bending and welding equipment in-house and hundreds of exhaust components in stock, we can often build a practical repair when a complete bolt-on assembly isn’t necessary. We also fabricate custom exhaust systems when an off-the-shelf system isn’t the right solution.

Whenever practical, we repair the damaged section instead of automatically replacing the entire exhaust system. We locate the failure and recommend replacing only what actually needs attention.
