Why Route 40 Auto?
Exhaust Specialists
Exhaust and muffler work has been a core part of our business for more than 37 years. We repair exhaust leaks, mufflers, flex pipes, catalytic converters, manifolds and complete systems.
In-House Pipe Bending & Welding
We can cut out rusted sections, bend replacement pipe and weld repairs in-house instead of automatically replacing complete exhaust assemblies.
Diagnose Before Replacing Parts
Whether it is a check-engine light, catalytic-converter code or drivability issue, we test the system and identify the actual cause before recommending repairs.
Full-Service Repair Shop
Brakes, suspension, steering, diagnostics, engines, transmissions and general repairs can all be handled at one location.

This is the ONLY place you should be taking your vehicle for exhaust and catalytic converter repairs. These guys are wonderful to work with, incredibly professional and try their hardest to give you the best deal possible. This is one of the very few car repair places left that isn’t out to rip people off. I had an exhaust repair done here and their work is 100% quality, and I can’t say enough about the honesty and transparency of their pricing. Highly recommend!

Had a failing catalytic converter on my Honda CRV (the annoying p420 code). They got me in and back on the road within the same week. I called Tuesday, they ordered the part, and I was picking it up Saturday morning. I have never seen such quick professional service. Plus the owner fixed a plastic piece under the car that my husband noticed (unrelated to their repair work but they went the extra mile for free). Very happy with everything!
